10 man Valley run out of Steam

Valley went into this fixture with confidence on an unbeaten 3 match run. Naturally, fate conspired against Valley and the roadwork gods were very, very upset.

As the main bulk of the team were being overtaken by snails on the M25, JC was desperately trying to get off the M4. And so Valley started with 10 men, a scenario which has not been uncommon in the past few seasons.

Valley got into their stride and were 2 - 0 up through goals from Phil. Bj was running down the opposition and Valley were controlling things.

The Valley players were eagerly awaiting the appearence of JC to bring the side up to full strength.

As the hard running of the midfield took it's toll on BJ and the others, Sanderstead came more into the game and soon the score was 2 -2. Valley tried to stop the slide, but were unable to prevent a third goal going in.

The scoring was completed just before the end of the game and Valley trooped off to the pub to drown their sorrows.
