Valley soundly beaten

It's not often that the opposition provide some excellent pre-match entertainmant, but the OCs 1st team served up 1 sending off and 2 yellow cards and 2 changes of goalie before we'ed wven warmed up.

OCs caught Valley napping and raced into an early lead before the whilstle had finished blowing. That seemed to jolt Valley awake and after a sustained bout of pressure Ed struck a deserved equaliser.

This was not one-way traffic and Valley were fortunate not to have gone behind again. Then after another short corner Bomber struck the ball sweetly and it took a deflection past the keeper and Valley were 2 - 1 up.

Unfortunately there was another half to go and OCs picked up theire game and were scoring for fun as Valley were pegged back and then fell far behind.

Valley didn't give up though and from another Short Corner Bomber saw a gap big enough to drive a bus through and duly scored his second of the game and of the season. Is this the start of his late charge to be the top scorer of the season?

Valley will not get out of the relegation spot with performances like this.
