One way traffic
Another disappointing second half display helped the visitors to victory on Saturday. A magnificent first half performance fom Gihan in goal and Andy at sweeper had held out the UCL attack for 34 minutes of the first half only to be cruelly beaten just before the break. A call for improved effort and marking from the rest of the team went unheard as the responsibilty constantly fell on the last two men in the defence.
With so many chances being created it was only a matter of time until the creaking home defence collapsed. And so it did in spectacular style with UCL scoring 6 unanswered second half goals.
More effort, awareness and pride are required if improvements are to be made. Time will tell if we have those qualities for more then 20 minutes of any game.
