New blood

The following players had their first game for the ladies 2's- Claire, Helene (whose nickname is Fred), Kim and Hannah and all players had a good debut!

The game started late as the opposition arrived in dribs and drabs. When the game started the distribution was pretty even, although Barnes, Hounslow and Ealing had more shots on goal. The opposition's persistence was rewarded with a goal in the 20th minute.

The score at half time was 0-1.

At the start of the second half Thames valley were still showing signs of determination and there was some really good play and penetration into the D. Everything was achievable until the opposition scored an impressive goal with 15 minutes to go.

In short the opposition was marginally stronger. Thames valley gave a valiant effort for a team which has not played together before. The determination and the team spirit were impressive.
