No drinking from the Cup this year
Abingdon's fast forwards were more than a match for Thames Valleys defence. We were forewarned about their top scorer and captain but were unable to stop her scoring a hat trick and increasing her total. They were vulnerable at the back and several chances were created by Valleys hardworking midfield. None were converted though and that's the end of the cup run for this year.
The chip butties provided after were much appreciated as was the well stocked bar. We clearly outstayed our welcome and had to be asked to leave so the barstaff could go home. Thanks to all of our supporters who made the long journey up from London.
