Where was Frank?

Saturday saw our 1st game with some rain and the return of Ally B to the 1st team at left back. Ally had a great game and Jules, now with a few games under her belt, is back to dominating the defence and will soon be back to her best. Defensively we were very strong all game and weren't troubled too much by Ashford in the 1st half. We had many good breaks throughout the game working the ball well through midfield and the forwards creating many chances. Nicky scored 2 goals before half time, 1 from a short corner and then her 1st from open play this season.

The second half saw Ashford follow in Valleys footsteps and they scored from their 1st short corner. All other action was over shadowed by Tarryns solo effort, picking the ball up from the half way line, beating a few players and smashing it home for our 3rd. If Frank Lampard had seen it he would have thought it was a "Supa goal"

The game ended 3 : 1 and was very enjoyable, good luck to Ashford in the Middlesex league this season.
