[Message from our Club Captain]
Dear all, Kit (the sort you wear not the person) can now be ordered. The price for a ladies home shirt will be £10.
The price for socks will be £5. Should you require any of the items available, please send an email to club_kit@thamesvalleyhockeyclub.com or make a request through your team captain. Orders will need to be in by the Monday 12th of December. Just to remind you, I'll need to know what size you require (at least that's the kind of information I'd forget to put on anyway!) Please indicate if you already have a number allocated in the club (and what it is) so these can be put on the correct shirts. If you don't have a number, one will be allocated to you. As you all know, we will hopefully be moving to a new home pitch next year. It is also our intention to review kit, so the kit you purchase now may only be for the remainder of this season. Trev |

[Message from our Social Secretary]
Hello everyone, The festive season is upon us, if Asda is to be believed. In order that you can prepare properly for a week of absolute gluttony and excess, we have arranged a warm-up for you all, so that you can give your liver a chance to brace itself. The Hockey Club Christmas Party will take place on 10 December, starting at 8.00 pm, and finishing late. There will be a DJ from 9.30 onwards, so you will have ample opportunity to strut your stuff. There will also be a Christmas raffle; same format as previous years- can people please bring prizes for the raffle with them. The last social night was enjoyed by all those who attended, and raised a fair bit of money for the club. It would be great not only to replicate the success of Halloween, but to get even more people down the club for a pre-Christmas bash. Tickets will be available at £5.00 a head, and on sale as of this Saturday. If you sell five tickets to non-members, you will get in free yourself. Hi Everyone To those of you who dont know me my name is Will and im captain of Royal Holloway Men's second team. First of all i would like to thank everyone for making our players feel so welcome when they have played for you. All the guys (and myself included) have had nothing but good things to say about you all. I hope we can continue this excellent rappor with you in the future. Secondly i am writing with a bit of a plea. I have a few home games coming up on a wednesday afternoon and i am desperate for umpires. Is there anyone out there who would be able to umpire our games on any of the following dates:

As we all know this saturday is bonfire night and this traditionally means that there are few people at the club.
For this weekend only (November 5th) the club will be closed.
Normal service will be resumed next saturday (12th November) |
