BOGNOR TOUR - 2 - 5 Sept, 2005

THE ALLIED FORCES INVADE BOGNOR REGIS!!

Bognor hockey festival consists of a field for camping in, and Chinese Restaurant for those that won't or are too old to camp, 3 pitches to play on and a clubhouse to drink in. Doesn't sound too exciting? Well add to that over 200 like-minded people, vast quantities of snakebite, a few drunken hockey matches and the only prize available is the "Most Sociable Team" award, then you have the recipe for an amazing weekend!

Naturally the Allies won the only trophy going for the weekend. Well done Forces!

A mention for General E. Short who made a very special effort in testing her camouflage on her squad mates and hid several times in the bushes on the way home on Friday night...

Believe it or not there is actually some hockey played over the weekend. We wont lie and say its serious (although some clubs do get a bit keen!) but everyone gives it a go, despite raging hangovers. Having said that we remain unbeaten all weekend... fantastic strategies were used to defeat the enemies.

Well done Pooper Trooper, Private Dancer and Private Bitty for all the organisation.

Below is the full outfit including base camp, can you see us?
