Jon and Kate are proud to announce the birth of their baby girl Eloise Ruth. She was born on the 14th December and weighed in at 6lb 15oz. Both mum and baby are doing well and Rory is enjoying cuddling his wee sister.

The Christmas Karaoke evening went very well! Greatly enjoyed by all, if they can remember anything about it!!

President's Day 17 Dec 2011

A good turnout on the day saw enough players to field three teams; probably four if we wanted to. A three way tournament was held with the Club XI, Member's XI and President's XI, each team playing two 35 minute games. The President's XI won their two games with the Club XI & Member's XI both registering a draw and a loss. The President's XI and the Member's XI were made up of family relation combinations, whilst the Club XI contained non-related players. It was nice to see many ex and non-playing Valley members turn up to play and watch.

Teams retired to the clubhouse after the game for teas and drinks; good to see as it is money spent in the Bar which helps pay the rent. A special thanks to Sumit & Rohini, Ash & Bobby and Derek & Jane 'clean sheet' Fryer for preparing teas, paid out of their own pockets. A whip round in the clubhouse raised over £150 for charity, so well done to all those who donated.

A successful day which the club hopes to repeat.
